If you love me won’t you let me know
Have I mentioned before that I love the Oxford handbooks? The books are loaded with tonnes of witty humour and exceptional observations pertinent to the life of a doctor. And sometimes to life in general.
“Do not voluntarily deny yourself the restorative power of sleep…remember that sleep is our natural state in which we were first created, and we only wake to feed our dreams” I love this sentence – I can read it over and over again and still won’t get bored of it. Perhaps I should heed to the advice in this very sentence and go to sleep, instead of trying to squeeze in as much last minute study as possible into this half-panicked pea-sized brain of mine.
“Finding out what can lead you through adversity is the art of living”
I’m sure you can read these words in the photograph above. I just like to repeat it because it’s the second sentence I love most in this page. Ironically, I am still finding out what leads me through adversity. Have I not mastered the art of living? Probably so. Or maybe, I have not gone through severe enough adversities to realise things that would lead me through those times.
When the future’s architectured by a carnival of idiots on show you’d better lie low – Violet Hill by Coldplay

Have you seen the one with the Giardia picture? Hilarious!
Oh, Talley O’Connor is hilarious too. You should read it.
